Mr.Chen at the front desk really stood out. Even on busy evenings he was polite, kind, helpful, and friendly, and his service made our stay memorable. He was always approachable, unlike what we felt with his other colleagues. The pillows weren’t very comfortable, as another reviewer mentioned. Rooms are compact but well planned, and the place is neat, quiet, picturesque, and comfortable. It’s a 7-8 minute drive from the market centre, so having your own transportation is recommended.

The rooms are quite nice, but that pillow is so high and uncomfortable. There’s no breakfast, and there isn’t much around the hotel either. They really should get other pillows.

The room was quiet and relaxing, and the hotel was clean and well kept. It’s a good location for driving, though there are several bus options nearby too. The amenities are good, but I’d like it even more if there were a basic gym. Thank you very much.

The decor is clean, with a countryside feel and a forest like smell. Rooms were very clean too, though I didn’t find the pillows comfortable. It’s odd that you have to ask the front desk to manually set the temperature below 23 degrees. Staff were nice and accommodating, but, as usual, it can be hard for us non-Japanese guests to get simple requests across. As a lifetime Marriott member, I don’t often stay somewhere without complimentary breakfast and drinks. This Fairfield doesn’t have a kitchen at all, but it does provide free coffee and tea around the clock, and the German brand coffee machine is excellent.
