Really good!

The kids were thrilled with the loft room, and it made me curious about the owner and the karaoke available at night. The location was great for walking around and trying different things. I arrived thinking I had a reservation, but it turned out I didn't. They dealt with it straight away. The staff all had a motherly warmth that made me feel at ease. I could catch up on the laundry that had piled up during the trip, and they supplied detergent, fabric softener and lots of hangers.

We've stayed here three times now, and our budgie seems completely at ease. On the day we left, it even refused to go back into its cage, as if it wanted to stay longer. Maybe it liked the warm room. ☺️ We found the place while looking for pet-friendly accommodation, and our bird was allowed to stay for free. The New Year's holiday reservation worked out too. We brought our own pot for hot pot, watched Kohaku Uta Gassen on the big screen, and had a lovely time. There are plenty of tasty restaurants near the station, including my favorite Jankara karaoke place, so I'm looking forward to coming back. 😊 The D-type room was just right for one person, with a big wall-mounted TV, a roomy single bed, fridge, microwave and electric kettle. There's a kitchen for cooking. Small pots and dishes are free, while large pots, pans and a rice cooker cost extra. The bathroom has a washing machine, hangers and clothespins, and clothes dry well indoors. There are hooks for the clothespins, handy for small items. The big bathtub lets you stretch out and relax, and the separate toilet has a bidet. It's in a great spot, about two bus stops from JR Wakayama Station or a 10-minute walk, and the rate is very reasonable. Staff who work the front desk also clean the rooms and facilities, so we call them on the internal phone. Many are very kind, and that makes the stay comfortable without having to worry about anything extra. We look forward to staying again. 😌

There was no hot water in the first room. The replacement had no heating, and its microwave was broken. Every room was terrible. It seems they don't maintain the place properly, and the hotel's operation is at a level that would fail a health department inspection. Even the hotel next door, TO, is better. I'll never stay here again.
