The kitchen was especially comfortable to use. I could prepare baby food and sterilize bottles without worrying, and the common areas were very clean. With the kids along, staying in this traditional Japanese house felt like taking them on a school trip, and it brought back memories of my own school trips and training camps. The relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere was such a treat. The ocean is so close you can hear the waves from your room, and getting there is easy. We barbecued while listening to them, and it was so satisfying I almost didn’t need meat! The owner was unexpectedly kind and funny, and really showed his Kansai local side. His adorable children played with us too, so we had a great time. I can’t wait to come back. The stay was truly wonderful, and I’d highly recommend this inn, though I’d hate for it to get so popular that booking becomes difficult. We look forward to seeing you again!

From the second floor, the kids loved watching the trains go by. The guesthouse is just a 1-2 minute walk from Isonoura beach, and its location is fantastic. It’s an old Japanese house that’s been renovated, with the comfortable, familiar feel of visiting grandma in the countryside. The house was very clean, and the owner was gentle and the family friendly. Both parents and kids had a relaxing time, just like at home. Next time we’d like to stay longer and have a barbecue by the beach ♡

We spent several days here with our family and combined the stay with our marine sports hobby. The owner kindly let us use a drying area and washing machine, which was a huge help with children. We also had a fantastic barbecue in the courtyard. We’d worried about being a nuisance with small kids, but the owner was so kind and made things much easier. The rooms and shared areas were very clean and comfortable. We’d love to come back!

On a spontaneous solo trip, I found this lovely inn in a traditional Japanese house. Its nostalgic smell and atmosphere took me right back to my grandmother’s countryside home. The location was perfect, right in front of the station and the ocean. The owner’s thoughtful care and the locals’ kindness filled my heart. It turned into the best trip, and I’m so grateful for the chance to stay. Thank you so much. I’m already looking forward to coming back.(^-^) ☻ ♡ ＊
