The capsule beds have a contemporary design that I really liked, and the facility was spotless with modern technology. Finding the place took some effort on a cold, windy day. I can’t read Japanese signs, and the Google Maps directions weren’t clear. It’s inside a hotel on the sixth floor, which is why I gave it four stars. The lobby desk staff member was extremely helpful, spoke clear English, and offered luggage storage and WiFi before my 5 PM check-in. I’ll definitely come back.

It’s a nice place for a night if you’re traveling alone or can sleep easily, and the price is good. The shared room was clean and large enough for an adult to lie down and take about three or four steps around. Private rooms have curtain-style doors, so they don’t block outside noise very well. The hot spring is small, with room for about two or three adults. This hotel is part of a larger building. If you drive, you can park on the seventh floor and pay the front desk staff ¥1000 for the night.

The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful. The location is superb: there’s a shopping mall downstairs, it connects to the train station, and it’s easy to find. The rooms were a comfortable size, clean, and tidy, with good air circulation. I liked the full set of toiletries and electronics, including a hair straightener. The toilet area had an Onsen and a traditional shower area. They also provided face and body towels, sleeping clothes, and hangers. I’d recommend staying here again.

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and they even supplied pajamas. The hot bathtub was a nice extra. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Wakayama. It’s the best capsule hotel I’ve stayed in, and I think it’s worth paying a couple of bucks more for a premium capsule with extra space.

For the price, this capsule hotel feels pretty luxurious, with a TV and other features. It’s close to the train station, on the sixth floor of Granvia Hotel. The capsules are larger than most, but you’ll need to store your luggage outside unless you book a premium room. The bathroom is nice if you’re comfortable with nudity. There’s a sauna, but no private shower.
