I had meals nearby without any trouble, with a Lawson, Kourakuen, and a privately run izakaya close by. Dinner and breakfast are available for an extra fee, though paying extra for rice refills left me a little dissatisfied. I used the hotel on a business trip, and found it conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the station. The building and rooms are old but cleaned, although they don't clean during stays of up to 5 nights.

The building feels a little dated, but I had no complaints for a business stay. My room was spacious, quiet despite being near Route 4, and looked out toward the forest when I opened the window. There's a large izakaya on the first floor, two elevators, and a roomy UB where I could fill the tub and soak. By car, it's easy to reach from Route 4, with a large parking lot out front and a bit farther down. Lawson and Kourakuen are within walking distance. If you're driving and don't plan to go out drinking at night, it's worth considering.

I booked a twin room without meals and was happy with it. It was clean and had the essentials. Other reviews mentioned a slight smell in the bath, so I was paying attention, but I didn't notice anything and could relax. The room was quiet, and even the neatly folded bathroom toilet paper reflected how well the place was cleaned, so I felt comfortable using it. For an affordable stay without meals, this works well. If you're after more, you'll likely need to pay more for a pricier hotel.
