The staff were quick to respond and helpful, and the simple breakfast was healthy and tasty. Being near the lake was great, especially with the free bikes, and the free laundry came in handy too. We really appreciated the lounge’s free iceblocks and massage chairs, and the onsen was relaxing. One suggestion: set a private-use limit of 45-50 minutes for the onsen so other guests don’t have to wait too long.

We only stayed one night, but the hosts clearly cared about me and my friends and made us feel at home. The beds and room were extremely clean, and the way they treated us really impressed me. We could also borrow bicycles for free and enjoy three types of onsen privately. I’d definitely come back.

The twin room (#201) was really comfortable, and breakfast was simple but delicious. The main guy running the inn gave great service. My one complaint is the onsen: it seemed dirty and had a funky smell, so I’d use the room shower and visit a nearby day onsen instead. Everything else was great.

Waking up to those incredible mountain views from the bedroom is something I won’t forget. Manor House was one of the highlights of our Mt Fuji trip, with a beautiful, relaxing onsen and an ideal base for exploring the area. The host communicated well and made everything feel easy with such warm hospitality. I’d highly recommend staying here around Mt Fuji.

We slept really well in the spacious room, which had its own hot bath and very good climate control. The location is great, and borrowing a free bike made it easy to reach nice spots. Service was kind, though sometimes it was hard to find someone when we needed help, maybe just bad timing. Breakfast was nice, the view was great, and the facilities were fine.
