This comfortable, quaint inn made our stay memorable. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner they served, and it was a nice base for exploring the area.

The couple who run Kamihuusen Inn made us feel like valued guests. When we wanted to hike around the nearby Nordic skiing training grounds for the Olympic teams, they managed to find us snowshoes. The food was very nice and service friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here to enjoy Maguse outdoor Onsen before heading to Jigokudani Monkey Park.

The homemade meals from the couple who run this place are amazing, and the rates are very reasonable. I’ve been coming back for years because it feels like home and everyone is so friendly.

The fresh bread they bake themselves, the owner's mother's cooking, and the wine were all wonderful. The guesthouse is also an easy walk from the family slopes at Romance no Kamisama Ski Resort. The hospitality was lovely, and you can tell guests really enjoy being here. ☺️🍷

The owner couple made the guesthouse feel warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, with plenty of Japanese and Western dishes, and even picky eaters were happy. I had no stomach trouble, and despite having three glasses of wine, I didn’t wake up with a hangover.
