The hotel is good in any season, though for those cinematic views, winter is probably the one to choose. If it’s snowing, that’s the craziest of all.

The hotel is old, though the location is decent. Its exit is right next to the slope, but you have to cross the road on the way back. In more than 300 hotels, this is the first where I couldn’t leave my bags for free before check in. The rental gear was old and there wasn’t much to choose from. I ordered dinner, but they forgot about me. It cost 3800 yen, and I ended up eating at the shop, where the choices are very limited.

You can’t ask for a better spot, just a minute from the first slope. The hotel also has spacious rooms and a nice onsen. Staff were friendly, and breakfast and dinner were great. Ski and snowboard rentals are available by the main entrance, past the drying room in B1, and they’re good and cheap. Great hotel!

The hotel interior is nice, even though the entrance is small and a bit old. There’s a souvenir shop inside, and the food is decent. The lift to the top of the mountain is close enough to walk to.
