The buffet upstairs had a great spread and a lovely view. The rooms could have been cooler for me, and my son had to change rooms because of some kind of bugs, not bed bugs. The staff were very apologetic and helped him move all his things to the new room.

4/10
The room was OK, but the air conditioning switched itself off overnight, and it got very warm with poor air quality. I also woke up with several mosquito bites, though I don't know how they got into the room. The rooftop beer garden was advertised, but it was closed when I went up. It was cluttered with furniture and smelled of sewer. Renovations can happen, of course, but they shouldn't advertise something they aren't offering. A notice in the elevator saying it was closed would also have saved the confusion. I wouldn't visit again.

It's cozy and warm inside, even if it isn't the most luxurious or best-equipped hotel in town. The internet is super fast, and you log in through the TV, which is quite an advanced setup. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 10th floor, with a spectacular outlook. The 24-hour Maxvalu Supermarket is a convenient six-minute walk away. There's also a mini bus stop right outside the entrance, with direct service to Aso KMJ Airport.

Breakfast has great local food, and the location is decent. It was very quiet, with relaxing music.

It doesn't feel worth a three-star rating, and it made me feel like foreigners aren't welcome.
