The food lived up to what I'd heard, and I enjoyed the buffet. I was here for a business trip, and ended up liking the inn despite feeling a little unsure after reading the reviews. The rooms are old, but I found them reasonably clean. The toilets are stylish and have washlets, and the Wi-Fi worked well. There are lots of mosquitoes at this time of year. I had brought repellent spray, so I managed. There's only a Family Mart nearby, so I'd suggest stopping at a supermarket on your way here. The bathroom is about the size of two domestic bathrooms. Late at night no one else was using it, which made it feel private. The owner is elderly, so if that's a concern for you, it may be better to go earlier. I'll stay here again on my next business trip.

It has a certain pull to it. Dinner is pretty filling, and it seems just right for single men.

The place has a dim, slightly spooky feel, though the facilities are well equipped. Breakfast was a generous Japanese meal with beef, and I had a drink too. Mosquitoes got into my room, lol. The owner was really friendly, and with the station nearby, I'd come back.

For under 4000 yen, breakfast included, this was a cheap and good choice for my one-night business stay. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Parking is inside the white fence in front of Kaiyamado Shrine. The bath and bed were about what you'd expect at this price, but the food and service are among the things I'd praise. There are three Wi-Fi routers, and it wasn't busy when I used it.

A cockroach showed up in my room, and with nobody around and no insecticide, I couldn't do anything about it. I moved to the other room I was allowed to use and thankfully found no cockroach there. If this hadn't happened, I'd have given it three stars, but they should have used a bug bomb beforehand. I'm sure there are cockroaches elsewhere too. It didn't feel like a traditional Japanese inn. It was more like guests were being put in empty rooms in a student dorm, or a guesthouse. They'd got my check-in time wrong, so nobody was there when I arrived. They said breakfast wasn't included because they had a meal service for a nearby nursery school, but they did refund me for it. I could use two rooms as I liked, and there was a toilet in the room. I thought the stay was okay until the cockroach appeared, despite there being no cooking facilities.
