Hotel ZALA

The rooms, hallways, and toilets were clean, and the soft bathroom floor had room for two people. I paid about 13,800 yen for a room-only plan for two adults. There were lots of free rentals, plus complimentary alcohol, sweets, and popcorn on the first floor. It was comfortable, and within walking distance of Shin-Yokohama. The only thing that felt a bit off was how hard it was to hear the receptionist. I understand they limit visibility for privacy, but being able to hear the explanations better would help. Thank you.

We were two guys and hadn't realized from the booking photos that it was a love hotel, so arriving was a surprise. The service and room were good, though. It's clean, close to the station, with free drinks and sweets, and the room was spacious, especially the bathroom. The train noise is bothersome since it's right by the tracks, so that's why I gave it four stars. It's near Yokohama Arena and Nissan Stadium, which makes it a handy casual stay for concerts and other events.

For business travelers, not having a desk could be a downside. Otherwise, the value was top notch, and the rooms and facilities were excellent even though it's a love hotel. The room was spacious, with a big-screen TV and sofa. The floor was left exposed, probably to prevent stains, which seems both good and bad. Double doors did a great job keeping sound out, lol. The bed and bathroom were huge, and the sink area was packed with amenities.

Free parking is a big help if you're coming from outside the prefecture, and with 12-hour parking around here costing about 1500 yen, I appreciated how service-minded the hotel is. Room 401 seemed reasonably priced to me, and the space itself was excellent. Late checkout seems possible until 11:00 PM, which is reassuring. Since smokers also stay here, that could concern non-smokers, though it only bothered me a little. It's much more comfortable than a mediocre business hotel. Thanks for a comfortable stay! m(._.)m
