We had a lovely view of Mount Fuji from our room, and I also got to see the ocean side, which was great. The location worked perfectly for traveling with my elderly parents, with shops, places to eat, and taxi pickup right there. The staff kindly arranged rooms near each other, check-in and checkout were flawless, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. We also appreciated the free filtered water on the floor. Either view seems like a good choice, and I’d recommend staying here for the convenience. 🤙🏾

The location was a real plus, close to shopping areas and restaurants. The bathroom was very dirty, with mold and scum in the shower and toilet, a leaking shower, and a strong sewage smell. Room service never came, and the coffee table was bent and unusable. I stayed three nights, and this was nothing like the Japanese hospitality I’m used to.

I spent four nights here with my family and had a spectacular view of Yokohama from the room. I took lots of photos during the day and at night, including planes coming and going at Haneda airport and a cruise ship docking and leaving. The hotel connects directly from its lobby to Colette Mare, which is open until 8 PM. The lighting felt a little dim to me, but it didn’t spoil the stay. New Otani Inn Yokohama is right by Sakuragicho JR station, above the shopping mall, and near Landmark tower, other malls, and Minatomirai station. My first trip to Yokohama was unforgettable, and I’d stay here again.

I always choose the city view side, but the Fuji view from this hotel is lovely too. One of my favorite places to stay in Yokohama!

The Minato Mirai skyline and Ferris wheel right outside the window were the best part, especially at night. Hotel New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium is beside Sakuragicho Station, so getting around is easy. The room felt modern and clean, with a really comfortable bed. Breakfast includes Japanese and Western choices, and the staff were professional and polite. Just remember to choose either a smoking or non-smoking room when booking. A comfortable stay with great views and a handy location. I’d recommend it for Yokohama.
