Hotel New Port Yokosuka

Hotel New Port was nice, with good views and a good location. There's laundry in the room, too. Early breakfast can be hard to find in Yokosuka, or Japan generally. At 10am, York Foods is just across the street, 100m away. It has 100 vendors selling fresh bread, breakfast pastries, and lots of other things. Set aside an hour to browse around.

The room had a washer, dryer, sink, hob, and oven toaster, plus a large fridge and decent storage. I also appreciated the work desk and reclining chair. The physical key, lift, and door setup feels a little old fashioned, but it's kind of fun compared with modern hotels. Keep your key with you after 23:00. I couldn't explore all the facilities because of circumstances, but the location is decent, amenities are fairly close, and the station is a short walk away. Much nicer than I'd expected, with friendly, kind staff. I'd definitely recommend it for a longer stay if your budget allows.

It's part of the Hotel Yokosuka family and, of all their properties, this is the best option. The condo style rooms are great, with a kitchen, washer dryer combo, couch, dining room, and balcony. Free breakfast buffet and drink tickets are included.

I had to revise my review because the beds were so uncomfortable that I woke up in pain every morning. Everyone in our group had the same complaint. Replacing the mattresses and pillows with quality, comfortable ones would be a game changer, and I hope they consider it.
