There's a beautiful beach just in front of the hotel, and a convenience store within walking distance. We had a good stay even though some facilities were out of order. The front office was friendly, and the service went beyond what we expected 🫰

Plenty of amenities, a roomy, clean room, and a bed that was really comfortable.

The staff were lovely and helped us with a very late check-in. Our room had two beds, plenty of space, tiled floors, and an open walk-in shower that seemed handy for beach trips. It always smelled nice when we came back after a long shift. There was a fridge and microwave, and the ceiling projector took the place of a TV. The setting is peaceful by the sea, away from the city bustle, with a rooftop terrace offering nice views and an ocean breeze both day and night. The nearest train station is about a 7-10 minute walk, though trains took a while to arrive since we were in a residential area near the end of the line. I couldn't try the small second-floor restaurant because of my work schedule. It was disappointing that breakfast wasn't available, though nearby cafes helped, especially Blue Moon Cafe next door. We also often ate at Coco's, about a 5-10 minute walk away, since it stayed open until 2 AM. With more time to enjoy the location and facilities, I think I would have liked the stay even more.

I paid 17,000 yen for one night with my fiance for her birthday, using an agoda discount, and we were stunned by the state of the grounds. The fence was broken and there were piles of broken sticks and trash lying around. Inside, the decor and projector looked cool, but that was about the end of the good points. Spotify and Netflix were still logged in to accounts belonging to previous guests, and the bathroom's large standing tub didn't make up for the black mold on the walls. The signs, maps, and notices advertised a restaurant and rooftop terrace, but the roof was blocked off with a Keep Out sign citing wind and salt damage. It's a beach hotel, so that kind of wear seems predictable. There haven't been any major storms or typhoons lately either, so I suspect the sign has been there for a while. When we asked the front desk woman about the restaurant and massage services, she said they weren't available. Asked why, she answered, "I don't know." No rooftop terrace, restaurant, or massage services, and mold in the bathroom. This is a run-down building with no upkeep, still advertising amenities it no longer offers. It felt like the height of falsehoods and greed. Stay away.
