The room had what you'd want, with a mini fridge, hairdryer, kettle, and bath. The view of the pool from the window was really aesthetic, though the room itself didn't have a particularly great atmosphere. I chose the hotel partly because of the pool, but use wasn't included in the price. It costs an extra 2,200 per person per day, and using the table and deck chairs costs even more. The pool closes at 9 p.m., so there was no chance to relax by it before bed like I'd imagined. The hotel was very quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves, though I'm not sure if that normally means anything. The location wasn't especially good for getting around. There's nothing within walking distance, and going to kamakura or enoshima means taking both a bus and a train. Thankfully there was a family mart and a bus stop nearby, otherwise I don't know what we'd have done.

Getting there was easier than I expected. A bus from Zushi station goes pretty much straight to the hotel, and the station itself is well known and easy to access. But after 9:30 p.m., it's impossible to reach the hotel without a taxi, and taxi queues can be crazy. They should keep the bus running after 9 p.m., there's clearly demand, lol. It's also about a 30 minute walk to the nearest beach. The walk there is nice, but the hills make the trip back harder than the Tour de France. The beach itself was peaceful and quiet compared with enoshima and Kamakura, with good views of Fuji. The rooms are a bit small but have the basics, including a bath, mini fridge, and kettle. Seeing the pool lights reflected in the room at night was kind of cool. Service was satisfactory, and they brought us new towels the next day. Maybe the reviewers who didn't get towels had asked in English, which the staff would obviously find difficult to understand. They seemed to serve lunch and dinner every day, though a 7 p.m. last order is a bit mad. The pool isn't included in the hotel price, despite giving that impression. It's 2000 yen per person, which is pricey, and it closes too early for a 'night pool.' Apart from that, service was cool. I enjoyed the stay with my girlfriend.

For anyone working at Yokosuka who doesn't want to get robbed by the tiny hotels outside the gate, this place is ideal. It's about 20 minutes from base, with peaceful surroundings, very spacious rooms, and a full size bathtub.

I had dinner at the restaurant with colleagues. There weren't many choices on the menu, but the food was good. The atmosphere and service were good too. Last order is at 7 p.m., and they close at 9.
