The rooms were great, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was included with plenty of good food, and there's a nice public bath too. Getting into town is the downside. The bus is an option, but it's a long walk to it and it doesn't come often, so expect to pay for taxis.

For about $63 for two adults and a toddler, this was clean, quiet, and easy, and felt like good value for a family. You can choose a smoking or nonsmoking room, and there are plenty of conveniences, including a washer and dryer and an ice dispenser. The onsen is a nice extra if you enjoy hot baths, though the women's side is tiny, really just a two-person tub. The men's side looked much bigger. Breakfast was decent, mostly Japanese dishes like rice, miso soup, natto, and other sides, with orange juice, croissants, jam, and butter for a Western option.

I've been here three times now. The lobby coffee machine makes a nice blended coffee, and I enjoyed having a cup there. The quiet surroundings make it easy to rest, and the room was nicely furnished. From the 7th and 8th floors on my earlier visits, I could see part of the Yokote Basin and the distance beyond it. It's a short drive from Yokote Interchange. The center of town is a bit away, so a taxi may be the quicker choice, though walking wasn't especially inconvenient. There's a large men's public bath on the first floor as well as the unit bath in the room, a good way to unwind and wash off the day's fatigue, especially for business stays. Thank you very much.
