The breakfast buffet was a highlight for me, especially the smoothies and ice cream on pancakes. There are lots of heated pools and water slides, and the onsen is wonderful. It’s a lovely, family-friendly hotel. The location feels a little isolated, though the lighthouse is within walking distance. A solid 4.

The outdoor activities, pools, and beach access were the best parts for our family, and the resort felt like good value, especially with kids. Our room was spacious by Okinawa standards, modern, and had a calming view. Perhaps thanks to our Accor tier status, we got a good floor and a well-positioned room. Housekeeping came promptly when we asked. Beds were comfortable, and parking was plentiful and easy. There are still some things that could be better. Food options were wide and decently prepared, so most guests should find something they like, but the selection felt repetitive from day to day. The minibar could be a little better, and I would have liked more coffee and tea choices. Water dispensers are on each floor, as at many Accor and international hotels, but two refillable bottles or pitchers in the room would be more convenient. The lack of a wardrobe seemed odd at first, though we managed our luggage fine. Staff were generally warm, but clearer training on amenities, what is included, and extra charges would help avoid confusion. The arrival and departure experience needs attention too. Self-service luggage trolleys are available, but an attendant or concierge outside the lobby would be a real help for older guests and parents with children. That first welcome matters. For kids, complimentary indoor activities like painting, crafts, or a dedicated club would bring the resort closer to other Asian Accor resorts. We saw some of the dissatisfaction in other reviews reflected in a few concerns of our own, but Accor seemed to be making a real effort to improve different areas. We would recommend booking well ahead and choosing all-inclusive for the best value. This is already a standout family resort with plenty of potential in the Okinawa Yomitan/Onna belt, and some thoughtful changes could make it even better 🙂.

The Japanese-French breakfast buffet was probably one of the best I’ve seen, with three kinds of butter, free-flow wine, and freshly blended juice. There’s also complimentary beer or cocktails from 2 pm to 11 pm across two sessions. Remember to check in right at 1 pm so you can try the free and discounted water activities. The boomerang slide is a must if you like water parks. The room and facilities are spacious, and this place really doesn’t disappoint.

I came with a friend hoping for a few quiet days after a big trip around Japan, but the resort was packed. Check-in took nearly 20 minutes, and the hallways had children shouting and running early in the morning and late at night. Breakfast seemed to mean getting in line before 6 am. The room itself was huge, clean, and well looked after. The bathhouse doesn’t allow tattoos. I understand that policy in traditional parts of Japan and would expect it there, but I hadn’t come across it in Okinawa at the previous place I stayed. I personally wouldn’t come back. I’d probably have felt differently with young, loud kids, since it seems like a perfect fit for them. My own rating would be lower, though that wouldn’t be fair to the hotel itself.
