The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. You can rent bikes for 200 yen, which is a nice way to explore the area. The location is handy for Zanpa Lighthouse and the beach. Staff were friendly, though they weren't always around when we needed them.

The owner was kind and helpful, and had put together a map of nearby places to eat. It's easy to get to attractions like Nirai Beach and Cape Zanpa Lighthouse from here.

At night the roads around the hotel get really dark, with almost no streetlights. We were on the first floor and could hear footsteps upstairs and the neighbors' washing machines during the day. It wasn't a big issue for us since we left early and came back late. The bathroom may feel cramped if you're larger, and turning around in it was a little difficult. The place is in a residential area, so you'll need a car. There's free parking with coin-operated machines, and it's about 2 km to Cape Zanpa. The gas station and bus stop are also around 2 km away, while restaurants and izakayas are about 1 km away. Our room had a bathtub, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, and dehumidifier. We booked in the off-season at a reasonable price and checked ourselves in. When we had questions, the Airbnb host replied quickly in Chinese. The landlord also gave us a detailed manual explaining local rules, including the possible 100,000 yen fine and eviction for noise after 9 PM, plus a large fee for disposing of luggage. That was helpful for avoiding trouble.
