The upstairs guests were easy to hear whenever they dragged a chair across the floor. The TVs also don’t work with Netflix or other streaming services. Even so, I’d certainly stay again. It was my first time here, and the rooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained. WiFi was good, the property manager’s instructions were easy to follow after booking through Airb&b, and the two bathrooms were well appointed. Parking right at the front door made things simple. The beach is tucked away and takes a solid 15-20 minute walk to reach.

The beds were uncomfortable, and the bedroom curtains let in so much light that we were up at 6am. The Wi-Fi was broken, and they didn’t fix it after we asked.

I booked through Airbnb, and the room looked just like the photos. It was clean, and I had a lovely stay. There were two bedrooms, plus two showers and two toilets, which was really convenient. The only thing that bothered me was how much sound came through the seemingly thin floor from the upstairs neighbors. Apart from that, it was comfortable and I had no particular issues. I later asked whether they could check if I’d left something behind. They said checking with the cleaning staff would take time because they were busy over the Obon holiday, but I still haven’t heard back. I understand they’re busy, though I’m puzzled that checking would take so long and curious about how they handle things. It was a great room, so the host’s response was disappointing.
