The ocean view is beautiful, just as the name suggests. You can see it from the rooms, hot springs, and dining area. Breakfast was delicious, especially the raw egg mixed with rice and special soy sauce, or TKG (tamago kake gohan). I ate 3 bowls of rice with 3 eggs and tried 3 different soy sauces. I recommend the bottle on the far right. I bought one at the hotel shop to take home, then saw the same item at a higher price at the airport. The room was cozy and just enough, about the size of many other Japanese business hotels. Mine didn’t have a shower or bathtub, but the public hot springs stays open until 1:30am. I went in 3 times that day, after check-in, after dinner, and before bed. The building seems to have some history, but the interior has been fully renovated and the service is great. Highly recommended.

I’m so grateful to the front desk staff for helping us find a local pediatrician who accepts credit card payment from a foreigner. They also gave us fresh water, a warm blanket, and plastic bags in case my son threw up, since he was quite sick. The room was fantastic and spacious. I have tattoos and couldn’t use the public onsen, so we had an ensuite bath. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I’ll surely come back!

The room was okay, and we had a review room. The location wasn’t bad, and being in the hot spring area made it fine. I’d assumed the hotel would have a hot spring, but they only provide a public bath.

The evening meal was a big disappointment. It tasted like home-cooked food served from large trolleys in a school canteen, which isn’t what you expect for 5500 yen each. The wait staff were noisy, took a long time to clear finished plates, and looked bored. The hotel felt expensive for what you get, and there always seemed to be something missing. The salon bar wasn’t really a bar, just coffee ordered from reception. There were no drinks in the room fridge, so I had to go find a convenience store in the rain to get beer. Breakfast was okay, but there was no Western alternative if you don’t fancy salty fish. The rooms are small, though they all face the ocean, and there’s no shower in the room. You have to use the public bath or pay 2200 or 3300 yen for 40 minutes in the private area. The hotel has two buildings, and getting between them means walking outside or going down to the basement and up stairs. The onsen is salty.

A lovely hotel with sea views and a traditional breakfast. The room was a bit small, and the onsen was quite small with no view, but overall I had a good experience. Reception didn’t understand English, and there was no laundry service.
