We soaked in the outdoor onsen under the night sky, with the mountains all around us. The water wasn't too hot. The building also has a lovely outlook over the surrounding nature, and the lady hosting us was so welcoming and friendly. The house was in great condition and had plenty of cooking equipment, as other reviews have mentioned. We ate a very generous shabushabu meal for two and were completely full afterward. I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular, but I definitely recommend it.

The house is beautiful and really well maintained, with a great view. We loved the charcoal grill dinner, and the sunset from the second-floor loft was amazing. The onsen was the one so-so part. The public bath water wasn't very hot, and the private outdoor bath never filled properly. Sounds like the private indoor one is the better choice.
