The private outdoor onsen was the highlight. It was a little too hot for me, though I think adding cold water would have fixed that. The rest of my group found it just right. The house was spotless and had all sorts of thoughtful details, from washing foam and paper towels beside every sink to heaters and humidifiers in each room. Cutlery and bedding were placed where we could easily find them. The host was quick to respond and experienced, and sent all the necessary information before my trip to Yufuin, with the admin sorted out properly. Probably my best Airbnb stay so far. I missed the Airbnb review window, so I'm leaving this here. Given the location and price, it was a superb experience. I'll definitely come back if I stay in Yufuin again. Highly recommended!

Freshly renovated and neat, with Japanese-style rooms and a private hot spring. There’s also a washing machine and a proper kitchen.

The house itself was nice, but the cleaners missed the lint filling up the washing machine. The kitchen also smelled strongly of someone having cooked steak.

Parking is really tight! Even with a six-seat car in the Japanese 5-number size class, it's a close fit. If a 3-number vehicle parks next to it, you can't get out. The building and facilities look clean and well cared for, like other reviewers have said, at least where you can see. But there was dust beside the washing machine in the changing room and behind the fridge.
