Hotel MIGRANT

The location is handy, close to the station and about a 7 minute walk to the beach. There’s a 7/11 on the ground floor, which is convenient, and the service was good. I was booked into a non-smoking room but still got a smell of smoke, which was annoying since I don’t smoke. The stay is very basic and felt a bit pricey for that level, but, hey, it’s Japan. There’s no English-speaking staff. It wasn’t a problem for me, though it could be for someone else. There really isn’t anywhere to stay in Tateyama at a reasonable price if you arrive by train or bus, so this is an alright budget option in a convenient spot.

It’s close to the station, the staff are friendly, and there’s a 7-11 convenience store connected to the lobby. The pillows are rock hard, with just one per person. I rolled up my clothes to add some padding and woke up with my Reg Grundies on my face. Apart from that, good value for the price.

Clean and comfortable, with nice staff. There’s no breakfast at the hotel, but there is a 7-11 on the ground floor.

A good hotel near Tateyama station, and the staff were very helpful.
