Yufuin TSURU NO YU

The view from the window was beautiful, and our room was clean, air-conditioned, and had what we needed. WiFi worked well too. Staff were so kind and let us leave our bags when we arrived early, even though check-in wasn’t until 4pm. I also tried an onsen for the first time here and loved it. The area is peaceful, with Kirin Lake and the train station only a few minutes away on foot, so getting around was easy. I loved staying here and would come back if I visit Yufuin again. Highly recommended.

The rooms have an updated tatami feel, and mine was pretty, roomy, and so comfortable I wanted to stay longer. It’s a renovated house with just a few rooms, very quiet and spotless, and the staff were nice. The location is great, and the price is so affordable. You can book a private onsen bath. The sink and toilet are in the room, while the rest is shared, but I didn’t mind that at all. Such a cute homestay, I loved it!

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the place sits just 15 meters off the Main Street. The staff were very friendly. All the rooms are upstairs, with two baths and a dining room downstairs. You can use a bathing room any time of day or night, and it’s private for one guest at a time. Ask the staff if you’d like a restaurant recommendation.

We had a good breakfast and a nice tatami room with a view of yufu mountain. It’s near the walking street, and kirinko is an easy walk for the morning.
