Yugawara Onsen Ryokan Uohan

I arrived very late, but they still welcomed me and served a huge, delicious dinner. The wakaokami-san was patient with my poor Japanese and made me feel at home. I only wish I'd arrived sooner so I could have tried the main bath. I'll stay longer next time.

The food tasted great and was nicely presented, and the hotel was a great value compared with others in the area. It's an old building, but very well maintained, clean, and everything worked. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating to foreigners. The town is small and quiet, and the onsen ryokan is a lovely little place. It's a bit far from the train station, about a 1500 yen taxi ride, though there's a bus stop right outside.

We were treated with exceptional care throughout, thanks to the lovely and helpful staff. The food was delicious, and the spring water was relaxing. A very nice stay in the quaint Japanese countryside. I hope to return someday.

The hot spring, with its overflow system, was really comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The inn itself is quite old, but well maintained and clean. Dinner and breakfast were okay. I had a good stay overall and would like to visit again!
