The staff were all very kind. It's about a 7-minute walk from Yukuhashi Station, with a convenience store nearby, though the closest supermarket is about 20 minutes on foot, so shopping without a car is inconvenient. You get your key at the entrance, and there's no cleaning service, so you can use the room as you like until checkout. The room had large windows and a balcony, so it didn't feel stuffy. The walls were thick enough that I didn't hear the neighbors. Lighting could be adjusted by remote, and there was a desk lamp, but no outlet near the desk. It would've been nice to borrow an extension cord. The toilet bowl and seat were different sizes, which looked odd, and there was no towel rack, so I hung towels from the bathroom door handle. The microwave in every room was handy, and the household-style air conditioner was easy to adjust. The fridge had a separate freezer like at home, so ice cream was fine, but it was noisy enough that light sleepers might want earplugs. There was a kitchen, but no gas stove or frying pan. You could probably cook if you brought an electric plate and utensils. They did have a cutting board, knife, bowls, large and small plates, spoons, forks, chopsticks, dishcloths, dish soap, and a sponge. In the closet I found one set of towels, a bath towel, bath mat, pajamas, and pillows. Toothbrushes weren't provided.
