This was my third time staying here, and I’ve always had a good time. The location is handy for both the Mitsumata Ropeway and the local onsen, and the hosts are kind and helpful. We stayed six nights. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, the portions were generous, and the dinner main course was different every day. Highly recommended!
After a day of skiing, the meals were especially welcome, and they were wonderful. The place was clean and comfortable.
A convenient, well-equipped place to stay for Kagura.
I travel a lot, and this was my first big find in quite a while. For the money, it’s the best-value accommodation I’ve come across in the past 10 years. The food was delicious, and I was especially surprised by how much vegetable salad came with dinner. If you’re comfortable staying in a guesthouse, I’d really recommend giving this place a try. I’d love to return next year.
It felt cosy and clean, almost like being at home. After a long training day, the meals had plenty of protein and vegetables to recharge us. They were delicious, generous, and varied from day to day. The homemade yogurt at the guesthouse was amazing, so good! 😋 The owners were warm and patient, answered our questions, and helped whenever we ran into a problem. Two drawbacks were that towels weren’t provided and bathing was only available in the evening, not in the morning. Even so, I highly recommend the place! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
