Nagomi No Oyado Takinoyu

We stayed last week and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The meals were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's conveniently located for the ski slopes and rental shops. The facilities have some age to them, but they're very clean and well looked after. They even arranged a cake for my son and me because it was our birthday, so thoughtful. I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting town or skiing near Yuzawa Kogen. We'd definitely choose it again on our next visit to Yuzawa.

They were so polite and made sure we had everything we needed. All meals were served in the room, and they provide pickup to and from the train station. The service was excellent, and I'd recommend the place to everyone.

The location is good, just a two to three minute walk from Yuzawa Snow Resort. The room was spacious and had a view from the window, and the staff were helpful. My only complaint was the laundry room dryer. It needs replacing, since it took three and a half hours to dry my clothes.

Aki was especially thoughtful and attentive, with genuine warmth and helpful recommendations that made us feel right at home. The hospitality was lovely from the moment we arrived. Takinoyu Ryokan has a traditional atmosphere, a peaceful onsen and delicious kaiseki meals, which made for a relaxing, authentic stay. We found the service excellent throughout. If you're after a ryokan with luxury and heartfelt care, this is a great choice. We can't wait to return!
