After skiing, we could relax in the hotel onsen, and Naspa ski garden is right next door, so renting gear and getting onto the slopes was easy. The hotel runs a free shuttle to and from Echigo Yuzawa station, where there are several shops and restaurants. We bought food there since meals at the hotel are expensive. Our room had plenty of space to open both suitcases and a stunning mountain view. The staff were excellent and did their best to answer our questions. A good fit for families and friends.

The pastries were delicious, and ski rental was cheap. The slopes are good, and the shuttle makes it easy to reach the gala. You can find everything you need without leaving the hotel, including incredible amenities and excellent service. For me, this is the best resort in the area. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Yuzawa.

We had a very spacious Japanese-style room, and the ski-in, ski-out setup made the stay convenient. The service was superb. The facilities are a little dated, and the main drawback is that this is a ski-only resort. Still, it's very family-friendly.

The onsen is huge and clean, and the rooms are spacious, with an entry and wardrobe area, plus a large shower room and separate toilet. The hotel is just outside Yuzawa town, which is convenient. Naspa ski garden wasn't open during our stay, so they gave all guests a choice of Gala Yuzawa or Yuzawa Kogen ski passes instead.

The staff looked after us from check-in through checkout. Even on our last day, they kept our luggage while the kids enjoyed the ski area. The shuttle to town comes every 20 minutes, handy for a meal at the station or a stop at 7 eleven, and taxis are around too. The room was spacious and cozy, with a tatami area the kids loved and beds my wife and I enjoyed. We also loved the white scenery outside the window. Breakfast was great, and we always looked forward to it. During ski season, you can book lessons or use the lift at the hotel, or take a shuttle to Yuzawa Kogen or Gala Yuzawa, with other ski areas to choose from as well. It was an easy, worry-free stay.
