I booked on Agoda and was told that check-in instructions and parking details would arrive a week before my reservation. A week passed with nothing, and they never replied to my repeated messages. I couldn't reach them by phone either, no matter how often I called, so I had to cancel. Agoda accepted the cancellation right away. Are they just trying to collect cancellation fees?

Based on other people's reviews and the way the business answered them, they don't seem suited to customer service. I tried to use a bicycle sharing service, but the bike was behind a locked entrance on the property's grounds, so I wasn't sure how to get to it. I asked over the intercom and got a female voice that sounded annoyed, telling me to just open the door and borrow one. I was asking because I didn't know whether I could simply open the door and go in, so I found that response rude. If they offer bike sharing, I think they should do something to help, like put instructions at the entrance.
