The bar was a lovely place to have a drink before dinner, with great music, and I enjoyed all the meals I tried. The service was fantastic, too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the staff did what they could to make my break relaxing. I arrived late in the afternoon when the kitchen was closed, but they still made me a late lunch and were happy to serve breakfast later as well. I stayed in two different rooms, and both were great, with lovely sea views and terrace areas. The architecture and design feel carefully thought through, with amazing views around the resort. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in over the years. My only small suggestion is to add a few more sun beds by the beach. I really hope I can get back to Diani and stay here once more before I leave Kenya. 10/10!

The beachfront setting at Waterlovers is stunning, and waking up to that view every day was a real pleasure. The hotel is charming and beautifully maintained, with clean rooms stocked with good quality products. After I got a bit sunburned, the team kindly prepared fresh aloe vera for me, a caring little touch. Breakfast was generous, excellent, and served attentively, with good variety and quality. We especially loved the dinner they arranged on the beach. We had brought a bottle of champagne from Reims, and the team prepared it for us so we could enjoy a memorable moment by the ocean. The cocktails were creative and nicely presented, and the barman’s sangria was especially delightful. From the start, the whole team was warm, kind, and attentive. Although the hotel was very quiet during our stay, they looked after us as carefully as if it were peak season. We appreciated that very much. Waterlovers is a beautiful place where the details and genuine hospitality make a difference. If we get the chance to return to Diani, we’ll certainly stay with you again. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable and memorable.

Waterlovers was a calm little oasis during our weeklong honeymoon, even though Diani beach itself is quite lively. The hotel is right on the beach but set back enough for privacy, with white sand, palms, a lovely pool, and a beach bar and restaurant. Being there felt like a dream. The rooms are simple, cool, clean, and comfortable, and we especially liked the lunch menu. The food was great, too. The hotel is so nicely kept, and the palm leaf heart leading to our room was a lovely detail. We felt warmly welcomed each day, and everyone was kind. Service was really good, though the bar could be a little slow. The massage was incredible and very good value. We really didn’t enjoy the glass-bottom boat trip they arrange. At Robinson island there were a million other boats, and we snorkeled among propellers and boat fumes. The captain picked up sea creatures from the seabed and threw them around, then smashed coral to draw the fish in. We found it distressing and not in keeping with the hotel’s ethos of treating the environment well. The slow bar service didn’t bother us much, as that’s the chilled out Kenyan coast way. That trip doesn’t change how we feel about the hotel itself. We’d come back in a heartbeat, but think they should reconsider promoting the excursion. It’s one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we’ve visited, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special.

After our safari in kenia, we spent a couple of days relaxing at this special hotel. You can see the thought put into every corner, all designed to feel laid back. The staff were so kind and charming, and the food was outstanding. We went out briefly to kite surf, but quickly wanted to get back and enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Congratulations to the owners for creating such a special Oasis in Kenia. We hope to return. Thanks again for your kindness and care.

The rooms were clean and lovely, and the staff polite and professional. It’s a great location on beautiful Diani Beach, with a nice private stretch to sunbathe. We enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the resort. The main drawback is the vegan food: the choices are a bit basic, and a couple of the meals we had weren’t very good. If you’re vegan, bed and breakfast may be better than all inclusive, since there are several good vegan lunch and dinner options nearby.
