We stayed in Raven, a spacious twin room with an ocean view and lots of storage. It was handy being near the shared sitting areas and the kitchen, where we could make coffee and keep drinks cold. Our friends had the Fuel room, also with an ocean view. Its view was better than Raven’s, and it was just 20 meters from the sunbeds, beach and Salty Squid restaurant. Fuel wasn’t as spacious, though. The reception staff and cleaners were accommodating and very friendly.

We keep coming back to Kenyaways, and the ocean views are still a joy to wake up to. The rooms feel carefully put together, with personal touches and a lot of care in the details. Alex and the team are warm, genuine and always happy to help, which makes the place feel relaxed and welcoming. The massages are heavenly after time by the beach. Kenyaways is somewhere we can truly unwind, and we’ll be back again.

Our room, rebel, had a lovely terrace and plenty of space for the two of us and our two kids. We spent three nights at this lovely spot in Diani beach and enjoyed every day. The beachside sunbeds were great, the food was outstanding and the prices were okay. Give it a try.

We arrived at 2am and the security guards had everything under control, no problem at all. They were also very flexible about a late check-out. The service was professional and personal, the rooms were lovely with thoughtful interior design, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is also home to one of the best restaurants in Diani. Highly recommend.

Even with the place fully booked, it never felt crowded. We spent three nights in the smallest room, which was clean and comfortable, and the whole property was immaculately kept. You’re right on the beach, with an excellent restaurant in the same compound. Swimming in the warm sea at 6pm as the tide came in and the sun went down was magical. It’s clearly a place to go if you want to kite surf.
