Kitu Kidogo Cottages

Dario and Faith were excellent hosts, and the place looked just like the pictures. It was beautiful, peaceful, and kept very clean. Faith made sure we were comfortable for the whole stay, and the pool was so relaxing to swim in. I'd come back over and over, and highly recommend it if you want a peaceful spot in Diani.

Finding the gate takes a keen eye because the sign is small, but this is a real gem in Diani. We stayed in the small cottage, with its own entrance and patio separate from the main villa. There's no pool, but the location is fantastic, with private access to the white sandy beach. Ali Barbour's Cave restaurant is within walking distance, and shopping centres and restaurants are a 5-10 minute TukTuk ride away. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, and a chef is available if you ask. Eating on the patio in the cool breeze is lovely, though cheeky monkeys may try to share your food, and you may encounter the neighbour's dogs on the way to the beach.

We could easily get to different parts of Diani from the villa, and the beach was within walking distance. Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant is just around the corner. There's a barbeque stand, which made it easy for us to cook BBQ chicken and goat meat. The pool is REALLY deep for non-swimmers, though, so sadly I couldn't use it.

Loved the staff, the rates, and all the space. We rented a 2 bdroom, which fit seven of us comfortably, with room for another three, so ten could stay comfortably. The ambience is lovely too. This is a real gem. I love, love, love, love, love this place. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.
