The owner hung up when I called to discuss the state of the resort. The bedrooms were dirty and the whole place felt run down. In the bathrooms, the toilets were dirty and had no seats, and the taps didn’t work. There were no light bulbs in the rooms, though that hardly mattered because the generator often failed. The advertising photos are years old and misleading. The listing claims four restaurants, 15 outdoor pools, a bar, and free WiFi. When we visited last week, there were no other guests, no water in the pools, and many empty, run-down rooms despite the advert saying “just 1 room left.” There are three pools now, but no restaurants, bar, or WiFi. Don’t rely on the five-star reviews from over a year ago. The recent one-star reviews tell the truth.
