Sunset Villa Diani

We stayed in the main guest house, where the Wi-Fi was excellent. Each villa also has its own Wi-Fi. The place is beautiful and safe, and the grounds are very well maintained. The cleaning staff keep everything spotless, mopping all the floors each morning and cleaning the rooms daily. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and if something’s wrong, just ask. They’re happy to put it right straight away. I came in the middle of the week during the second week of November, in low season, so it was extra quiet. It’s a good fit for a relaxing holiday. You can walk to the beach, though a tuc tuc ride only costs a couple of dollars and can keep you out of a downpour. It’s a much better deal than the properties right on the beach.

It’s a tucked-away, private little gem, well away from the noisy town center. The place has a lovely feel and isn’t too crowded, just the right number of people. Book ahead. In the morning you can wake up to birds chirping, which is exactly what you need to relax your mind.

The staff were charming, very friendly, and helpful. We had a nice big room with loads of space, even the bathroom was big enough to make another room in it. The beds were nice, and the park and swimming pool were lovely. Air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly. A few small things kept us from giving five stars. It’s not a hotel, so don’t expect luxury, but you’ll have a nice stay in Sunset...

This is my third year coming back for a vacation, and I love the place. It’s quiet, a little piece of paradise where you can really relax. The rooms are nice, with air conditioning and a bathroom in each one. A chef can cook good food and bring it to your room, or you can eat in the lounge overlooking the lovely garden. If you’re up early, you might see a few species of monkeys crossing the property in the morning. If you sleep in, they come back in the late afternoon. The staff are helpful and friendly. It’s a very nice place to stay, and I definitely recommend it.
