You can enjoy a lovely view of lake Elementaita from the camping field. It's a good place to camp with a large group or with your loved ones, and there's room to wash up and change. Sockets and electric cables are set out around the field in useful spots.

We stayed five nights in our rooftop tent. It's a quiet new campground with hot showers and a beautiful lake view. There are lots of birds, including Pelicans, flamingo, stork, spoonbill, and more. Walking along the lake was nice, and the sunsets are amazing. Donald, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. The lodge next door serves good food. There's no Wi-Fi yet, but Safaricom signal is good.

The camping facilities and bonfire were great, and Lake Elementaita is only a few metres away in a peaceful setting. I loved the clean washroom and steady water supply, though the water is salty, so you may want to bring fresh drinking water. There are many hills to take in, including the maasai sleeping warrior. Bird watching is another great activity, with lots of species around.

The scenery was amazing, and we enjoyed Lake Elementatita and the camping. The staff were great too. It was very cold, so bring warm clothes. I didn't get to try the food.

We spent the night camping after riding over from Nairobi with my fellow bikers. We cooked barbecue and had a bonfire. It was my first camping trip, and I’d love to return. Such a great spot.
