Epashikino Resort & Spa

We left an item behind, and the hotel staff did a great job arranging its safe return. The pool was well looked after, and both the meals and service were really good. It’s also a convenient, pleasant place to stay.

The rooms are lovely and have great views. I’d rate the place 5/5 if the restaurant had larger cups and the room had a full-length mirror. Still, it’s a great place and I’d recommend it.

The rooms are excellent, and the pool is clean. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, but the food wasn’t very tasty and the buffet selection was limited. I hope they improve the food.

There’s lots to enjoy here, including the children’s play area, poolside games and crafts for all ages, bicycles for adults and kids, and a large conference space. The grounds are beautifully kept, with hills on one side and a lovely view of Lake Elementaita from our room. We watched some gorgeous sunsets. The pool is clean and has a separate baby pool, towels, loungers, and changing rooms, though the water was cold even on sunny days. Heating it would help. The garden and poolside were never crowded, and the place felt welcoming from the gate onward. Staff in reception and the restaurant were friendly and attentive. The two-story restaurant is spacious and clean, with generous, delicious meals and options available on request. We were given a table with a nameplate and Christmas wishes, which was a thoughtful touch. A baby feeding chair is available, too. Our room was spacious and well maintained, with large sliding doors opening onto a balcony. Warm water comes from both solar and electric power. WiFi worked reasonably well across the property. Toiletries are available if you’ve forgotten essentials, and a cot can be provided at no extra charge. Accommodation is fairly priced. Most areas are wheelchair accessible, although the stairs to the rooms aren’t. Parking is ample and secure, but the spaces felt a bit narrow for regular cars. Shower cubicles would help keep the whole bathroom from flooding, and full-length mirrors would be welcome. The open balconies could also be a fall hazard for active children or adults with limited mobility. It was a 10/10 stay for us, and I’d recommend it and come back.
