Tom the manager was friendly and helpful throughout, and the staff were lovely. The Palm Lodge is cosy, with spacious rooms, a 6" x 6" bed, TV and bidet. Hot water was unreliable in some rooms because the lodge still uses a boiler system. It's about a kilometer from the KE 🇰🇪 TZ 🇹🇿 border, set back from the main road. The road to the gate has cabro paving and is well lit. Parking is secure behind a locked gate, with a guard on site. They take Mpesa and cash, but not VISA or Mastercard.
