The gardens look like someone is keeping up with them, but the rest of the place is in rough shape. As of April 2026, the rooms were run down, the TV didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was poor.

The service was top notch, and I especially enjoyed the nyama choma and the food in general. I spent four days there for a conference and getting to the place was easy. On our final conference day, they served us a generous barbecue lunch.

The meat was excellent, and I really liked the jiko heater since it gave off no smoke. The place felt cozy, and the manager would stop by to check how the service was going and whether we needed anything.

The grounds are large enough for outdoor events, especially wedding receptions, and they provide tents. On weekends, management brings in acrobats, traditional dancers, and other artists to entertain guests, so there's usually fun for the whole family. The rooms are nice and comfortable for a reasonable price, and the food is tasty, juicy, well prepared, and made to your taste. It works well for family gatherings, outings, conferences, or a getaway.

The fireplace makes this a nice place to spend time, but the bottle prices make little sense. The 750 ml and 375 ml bottles are priced illogically, and management seems more focused on digging into clients' pockets than giving them value for money.
