A really cool, relaxing setting for a getaway. Bed and breakfast rooms start at 3000 kes.

The staff are friendly and the food is super, especially the pizza and samosas, and the drinks are good too. I've never stayed in the villa's because I'm worried about noise. I go to bed early, and the mosque noise bothers me.

Makuti villa is easy to find along Old Kilifi Ferry Road. The cottages have traditional thatched coastal roofs called Makuti, and there's plenty of parking. It's a peaceful place with a conference hall and swimming pool. The proprietors and staff are really friendly and make you feel at home. The Italian 🇮🇹 pizza is a treat, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, with an authentic aroma. It can get busy during holidays.

The staff were fantastic, but management didn't seem willing to look after customers. We waited ages for breakfast throughout our stay. One time, the children were refused a sausage even though it was included in the room price, and we couldn't get one even when we offered to pay. I wouldn't recommend it.
