Estate Sonrisa has a huge pool and a lovely beachfront setting, with beautiful views. We spent a day there swimming, eating, and having drinks, and everything was excellent. The food was especially good, fresh, flavorful, and delicious. From the moment we arrived, the friendly, kind staff made us feel welcome. It’s such a peaceful, quiet place, and the ambiance and service made the whole day a pleasure. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Diani who wants somewhere beautiful and relaxing.

The bar has a lovely sea view, perfect for watching the tides and the changing colors. There’s a big swimming pool for a great morning dip, too. We enjoyed the privacy, direct beach access, good food, nice cocktails, and courteous service.

The rooms were cozy, new, and clean, and the food was lovely. Antonia is a wonderful host, so sweet and familiar with guests, and her dogs and cat are just as welcoming. The rest of the team treated us really well too, especially the barman/waiter. The ocean views are fantastic, and it’s easy to get to the quieter Galu/Kinondo beach. There’s a lounge to relax in as well. After a safari through Kenya, this felt like heaven. A 10/10 for me.
