We loved being right on Galu Beach, with kite schools and a couple of lovely beach bars nearby. It was easy to get around by tuk tuk from the gate, though Carrefour and Chandarana are about a 20-minute ride away. Once we were there, the setting was so beautiful we barely wanted to leave. Our group of five adults and two kids spent eight nights over New Year at Kusini Beach Cottages. The infinity pool facing the ocean was a real bonus, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play. Gift cooked for us, changing the menu daily and finding healthy, tasty options for everyone's needs. Hamissi kept the house spotless, and all the staff were kind and efficient. The cottage was lovely, but could use some extra care. The bedrooms, especially the two small ones at the back, would be better with more ventilation and natural light. We were comfortable and had a great stay, and would happily return.

The children could enjoy the beach and grounds in a calm, safe setting, which made this a great family stay. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful facilities, and all the surrounding nature. The team was kind, attentive, and ready to help. The chef treated us to delicious meals every day, and Victor, the manager, made everything run smoothly. Kusini Beach Cottages felt like a little paradise in Diani Beach. We’ll definitely be back, and hope to stay longer next time.

The setting at Kusini Cottages is beautiful, with lovely views and a quiet feel. Our cottage was clean, well cared for, and designed nicely, mixing comfort with a sense of nature. The staff were warm from the moment I arrived, and their friendly service made me feel at home the whole time. It’s a great place to relax or explore from. I had such a good stay and can’t wait to come back.

Chef Charles is a wizard in the kitchen, and the staff on site are amazing. The location is great, and the price was good too. But the cleanliness really let the place down, which is why I gave it two stars. The sofas smelled musty, there was a dirty ring around the pool, and the shower walls were grimy. The white curtains showed handprints left by earlier guests. If the owner and property manager arranged a deep clean each month, this place could be so much better.

Just a few metres from the beach, and the place itself was beautiful. Charles made us delicious meals, while the friendly, efficient staff made our family feel comfortable throughout. We had a wonderful time at Kusini.
