6/10
The bar is cozy, with thick carpets and a good stock of drinks. It’s a nice spot to talk business over a drink, especially if you don’t want the noise of a bigger hotel. Food from the extensive menu arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and I hope to come back and try something else. The place is a converted mansion with four rooms and a ‘presidential suite’. There are at least five tables with four to six chairs on the well-kept lawn for eating outside. Rooms are well appointed, though some fittings seem old.

The waiters are friendly and welcoming, and they serve amazing organic food from the neighboring farming community. It’s a serene place with big rooms and one presidential suite. Room prices range from KES 4000 to 15000, and there’s parking for about 15 cars. There’s also an in-house pub, though no mixologist.

I really like the interior and the room finishes. They’re done perfectly.

The ambience was good, but I had a bad experience with the Indian serving pots. They were dripping something that looked like dishwashing water. I thought it might be vinegar or something, and after that awful experience I had to manage with Flagyl.
