Our friends stayed here at the beginning of November after I booked their room, and they had a marvelous time. They felt welcome and well looked after, especially the very small one, who got extra attention from the staff. They liked the spacious, clean rooms and said both dinner and breakfast were very good. I'll certainly stay here next time I'm in Kisumu.

The view from the top floor is spectacular, with the lake and sunset both in sight. Everything from the gate to the room made a great impression. A hidden gem worth finding.

Cynthia and Elizabeth handled all the plans for my son's birthday party, and they did an amazing job. We used the pool for him and his university friends, and the food and catering were excellent. Thank you so much.

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay, from reception through to the restaurant, and were always ready to help. My deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, with stylish decor, a good bed, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge. The Sovereign Hotel also has a lovely spot near Lake Victoria, with a picturesque view and easy access to places like the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary and local markets.

The food service was a terrible experience. I paid for it, but was left feeling disrespected and uncared for. The kitchen staff need to communicate better so customers don't miss meals, then get no compensation for the incompetence. I wish I could give the service zero stars.
