Mid Africa Hotel

I won't be coming here for meals again. The first pork ribs I tried were great, but things went downhill on later visits. The pork missed the mark the second time. I ordered roast chicken and it arrived deep fried; when I asked for it roasted, they cooked it in oil instead. The whole fish was bitter, which they also acknowledged. They said they'd replace it, but brought back the same fish after cleaning and dipping it in hot oil. I could tell from the taste and bits of charred onion 🤦🏾‍♂️.

Music from the noisy neighborhood comes through even with the windows shut, so this isn't a place for a restful night. Earplugs are a good idea. Maybe it suits people who like loud music or want a disco in their room.

The food was nice, but some rooms aren't worth their price. Please clean them up, replace the old towels and small round mosquito nets, and get rid of the dust on the blankets in some rooms.

This is otherwise a good hotel, but my car was clamped by the County authority in the morning. When I complained after spending the night, the director abused me. Hotels should provide parking or pay the county for reserved spaces for overnight guests, and clients deserve to be treated respectfully. Madam Director, your guests deserve respect, and the hotel needs them.
