We were sent here after the hotel we’d booked was full, and I wasn’t too hopeful because of the negative reviews. But it turned out to be a really nice stay, from the room to the service. Maybe things have changed. I’d recommend it.

The location is ideal, and it’s very quiet and cool, but the service wasn’t up to standard. They should improve the meals and train the workers in hospitality.

A nice place in Kapenguria town, with beautiful rooms, hot showers, drinking water, and prices that are friendly. It’s away from noisy cars and bikes, and both the service and food were great. Ask for Jacinta, she has excellent customer relations. I’d recommend it to travellers visiting West Pokot county for leisure, business, or conferences.

We brought a group of about 38 people from across Kenya for a week, and everyone enjoyed the stay. Horizon Resort is clean, the team is great, and the food is always fresh. Kapenguria can get cold, so pack warm clothes. They also provide extra duvets. Keep up the good work.

Horizons has a lovely location in kapenguria, with beautiful grounds and a calm, cool atmosphere. It feels like a heaven that’s slowly dying because it’s so poorly managed.
