Nairobi Airport Apartments

The family were so friendly and helpful, and thanks for sharing your beautiful home. It's easy to reach from the airport, though the dirt road gets bumpy near the house. If you're arriving late, tell them so they can notify the main gate security and arrange for you to be let through the gate to the home. I'd recommend booking an airport taxi through them for $15 so they can handle this. It was a very pleasant stay, and they were really helpful about letting me check out late for my nighttime flight.

The airport is nearby, so getting there is easier and less likely to involve traffic, though reaching the city center takes a while. I spent two nights with Mercy and her family, who were lovely company and even shared a trip to the National Museum with me. The accommodation was spotless, with roomy bedrooms and bathrooms, large windows, and good furnishings. Wi-Fi and hot showers both worked well. I arrived very late on the second night and that was no issue.

I stayed one night with my two kids, and it was such a calm little bubble in Nairobi. The welcome was warm, the place was clean, quiet, secure, comfortable, and well equipped. They’ve really made it feel like home, and I’d stay here again if I needed to.

Mercy and her family were kind and flexible, and the rooms were clean. The internet was fast, breakfast was nice, and dinner was tasty when requested. Finding the place was tricky since there’s no sign and it’s inside a gated community. For a homestay, the price felt a little high next to a full hotel, but I still have no regrets.
