The days we spent at the cultural camp were unforgettable. We had a great time doing warrior training with Koila, and the Olpul Bush Camp experience is well worth recommending. The manyattas were roomy and clean, the beds really comfortable, and the food delicious. Everyone took such good care of us and shared their culture, customs, life experience, and wisdom. Beautiful place, beautiful people. I especially appreciate the demanding and wonderful work you’re doing with the Enkiteng Lepa school. I hope we can visit again soon.

Maji Moto Lodge is a one of a kind stay and a real Maasai cultural camp experience. If you’re visiting Kenya, it’s a must to experience.

The people here are some of the kindest I’ve met. They’re always ready to help, teach, or entertain you, and you learn a lot about Maasai culture through the activities on offer. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are really good. There’s a bonfire after dinner every night. This place is something different, and I’d highly recommend staying here while travelling in Kenya. We’ll be back :)

Susan and Salaton made our stay feel welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the whole team treated us warmly. The setting in this beautiful part of the region was breathtaking, while the cozy, well-kept accommodations gave us the comfort we needed alongside a genuine glimpse of Maasai culture. Some of my strongest memories are the conversations with our hosts. Susan and Salaton spoke with us about Maasai history and traditions, as well as their community development work. Hearing all this was moving and helped me understand the cultural heritage more deeply. The camp also arranged a guided nature walk, visits to local villages, and traditional Maasai ceremonies. Each was handled thoughtfully, and being able to witness and take part in the practices was a privilege. Their care for sustainable tourism and environmental conservation showed throughout the camp. I was glad to see their commitment to protecting the area’s natural beauty and cultural integrity for future generations. My stay at Maji Moto Cultural Camp was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to Susan, Salaton, and everyone there for making our visit so special. I can’t wait to come back.

Susan and Salaton run a warm, welcoming camp with clean, pleasant facilities and a very good restaurant. We were invited into the Masai Community, rather than made to feel like just another guest. We planned to stop briefly after someone recommended the place, but it was such a good decision that we stayed two nights. We had a bush dinner under the stars and got to inspect the bees’ hives while wearing full bee suits. The camp feels authentic, not like a tourist trap. Lots of activities are included in the price, with no extra charge, including a visit to the Masai women’s village, a walk to the hot springs, warrior training, and more. A beautiful place to experience Masai culture, highly recommended.
