I’ve been coming here since 2006, and it’s stayed much the same. When I have meetings nearby, this is pretty much the only place I stay. The location saves you from the traffic, and the grounds are very secure. The staff, especially Eunice, are great, and the other guests seem like minded. There’s a little tucked away bar, while K1 is just around the corner if you’re after noise. It’s peaceful, the food is great, and the fish is especially good, which is rare in Nairobi. I’m happy to recommend it. It’s not luxury, just a truly Kenyan spot.

The staff were lovely, but I couldn’t sleep at all. The neighbor had loud music going all night. If you need to sleep through the night, think again :((

There’s a parking lot inside the hotel, so I didn’t have to worry about my car being vandalized. The rooms are spacious and kept clean, and the accommodation is fair at $30 or KES 3000. It’s in a secure spot in the heartland of parkland, Nairobi.

Rooms are moderate and there are a lot of smokers around, which is a turn off if you don’t like smoking. The place itself is good.

The staff were super nice, though I couldn’t sleep for even a minute. The receptionist said the club next door plays loud music like this every night, right through to early morning. Noisy as hell.
