Marine Holiday House

We had such a relaxing, fun stay in June, and the service made us feel well looked after. The beach is really close, under a 10-minute walk, and the views are beautiful. Can't wait to return.

The kitchen in our room came in handy and saved us money since we could make breakfast and heat food bought outside. The rooms were spacious, cleaned daily, and the whole place was peaceful. The kids really enjoyed the pool during our five nights with family and friends. Rachel, Morris, and Mercy were professional and helped make the stay special. A few things could use attention: the hot showers weren't working, and the furniture and parts of the house need some renovation. They could also use a washing machine for towels and laundry service, proper clotheslines for longer stays, and solar power or a generator.

The location was good, and the rooms were clean and spacious. I booked for five nights because I wanted to use the pool, but only managed to swim once. Whenever I went, the pool guy seemed to be busy maintaining it. I'd have thought that work would be done early in the morning, since guests want to swim during the day or unwind in the evening. It was disappointing to keep finding it under maintenance.

It's a very quiet, attractive place and works well for a group wanting a peaceful break without nightlife or distractions. Walk-ins are accepted, but confirm your reservation first. The breakfast package feels unreasonable. Also, don't order the roasted potatoes if you don't want them tasting smoky.
